MethodML Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-27 · Last updated: 2026-10-27
This policy explains what personal information MethodML LLC collects through methodml.com and our free tools, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. What we collect
- Contact form: your name, company (optional), email address and message. The site turns it into an email to hello@methodml.com, sent through Microsoft 365. The site itself keeps no copy of your message; the email is the only record. If sending fails, the form opens your own email program instead.
- Booking a call: your name, email address, the time you choose and any notes you add, collected through Microsoft Bookings. Microsoft sends the confirmation and reminder emails for that booking.
- Emails you send us and our replies.
- Basic hosting logs: our host, Microsoft Azure, may record technical details such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify visitors.
- Health Check results: the scripts run on your computer and save results there. We receive nothing unless you choose to send it to us.
2. Cookies and tracking
Our own pages set no cookies, use no analytics or advertising trackers, and store nothing in your browser. The booking calendar is a Microsoft page shown inside ours; when you open it, Microsoft may set its own cookies and collect usage data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. If any of this changes, we will update this policy first.
3. How we use it
- To reply to you, schedule and hold calls, and prepare proposals you ask for.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To keep business records the law requires.
We do not use your information for automated decisions about you.
4. Who we share it with
- We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
- Service providers that run our email, calendar and hosting process it for us: Microsoft 365 (including Microsoft Bookings) and Microsoft Azure.
- Our employees and subcontractors who need it to help you, under written confidentiality agreements.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we do not sell personal information or track visitors across sites, the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal.
6. How long we keep it
- Inquiries and booking details: up to 2 years after our last contact with you, then deleted. If you become a client, the 2 years start when your account is closed instead.
- Client data from an engagement: handled as the signed agreement says. Unless it says otherwise, we return or delete it within 30 days after the engagement ends.
- Invoices and tax records: 7 years, to meet tax record rules.
- Hosting logs: kept by Microsoft under its own retention policies; we keep none ourselves.
7. Your choices and requests
- Anyone can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about them, or to stop contacting them.
8. Your rights under state law
We are a small Arizona business and we do not sell or share personal information. We believe state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act do not currently apply to us. We still honor the requests in section 7 for anyone who asks.
9. Security
We protect personal information with reasonable technical and organizational measures. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
10. Changes
We will post any changes here and update the “Last updated” date.
