MethodML Terms of Use

These terms apply when you visit methodml.com or download our free tools. “MethodML,” “we” and “us” mean MethodML LLC. “You” means the person or company using the site or tools.

1. What these terms cover

• This website, its content, and the free Health Check scripts and guide.
• Paid work is separate. Reviews, setup and consulting projects run under a signed agreement (a Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work). If that agreement and these terms disagree, the signed agreement wins.

2. No legal or professional advice

• Content on this site is general information about data and reporting. It is not legal, accounting, tax or compliance advice.
• MethodML is not a law firm. Using this site or contacting us does not create an attorney–client relationship or any other professional relationship.
• Please do not send confidential client information through the contact form or by email before we have a signed agreement in place.

3. Free Health Check scripts

• The scripts are read-only by design: they read system information and do not change data, settings or files on your server. You can read every line before running them.
• You decide whether and where to run them. Run them with a read-only login and follow your own IT change rules.
• The scripts and the report they produce are provided free and “as is.” We are not obliged to support them, update them or review the results unless you buy a paid review.
• The findings are a starting point, not a full audit. Decisions about your systems remain yours.

4. Ownership and licence

• MethodML owns this site, its text and design, and the Health Check scripts and guide.
• You may download, run and copy the scripts for internal use inside your own organisation. You may not sell them, rebrand them or offer them as a service to others without our written permission.
• Your data and your Health Check results are yours. We do not receive them unless you choose to send them to us.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, send spam or harmful code, try to get into systems you are not allowed to access, or disrupt the site for others.

6. Third-party services

• Booking a call uses Microsoft Bookings. The contact form sends your message through Microsoft 365, or opens your own email program if that fails. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.
• Links to other sites, such as Microsoft documentation, are for convenience. We do not control those sites.

7. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, the site and the free tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. Warranties for paid work are only those written in the signed agreement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, MethodML accepts no liability for any loss arising from using the site or the free tools, which are provided free and as-is. Liability for paid work is set by the signed agreement.

9. Changes, governing law and contact

• We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use of the site means you accept the update.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Maricopa County, Arizona.
